If you have a clueless trainee, don't worry about being seen as rude, just say something like, "I would like to speak with the Front Desk Manager" and have him or her deal with you. If refused, check in, take whatever room they give you and send a note to the General Manager, explaining that after having had X amount of stays, and Y amount of nights at their property, you will no longer stay there in the future as you are obviously not valued.
I hear you, I was in a chilled state after 7 days of relaxing in Tirol so the trainee caught me on a good day
. The Deluxe room was fine, we didn't need the extra space and went out for white asparagus dinner to a nice place in Erding so the lounge wasn't needed and would have been extra anyways.
Breakfast at the Mountain Hub restaurant was fine, it was pretty quiet as Sat- Sun night stay. I had my last fix of Weisswurst before flying on SQ back to SIN.
