I booked BA16 from Sydney to Heathrow. Before that I flew on QF521, sold as BA7455 on the same booking. After arriving in Heathrow I should have had a connecting flight to Aberdeen. My QF flight was delayed by 25 minutes. I had mobility assistance booked. The booking was made months ago. The mobility assistance people didn't turn up until BA16 was boarding. BA offloaded us because we weren't even at the international terminal when boarding closed. There were no BA staff available by then because they only have one flight a day from Sydney. So Qantas rebooked us on an Etihad flight. This is a journey still in progress. But we'll be at least 6h 40m late. I'm just wondering what people's thoughts are on whether this would qualify under UK261?
