Thanks, make sense (somehow I didn't realise LX has flights from GVA to FR), although the sign was also on the entrance from the Swiss side.
There's also the La Première corner. LX GVA-NCE comes to mind. I've seen a few times that the airport administration has some sort of event in there. I suppose those two doors come in handy for various purposes; once a staffer suggested using them as a route to return landside from France. But much of that little lounge, including the protocol for champagne, remains a mystery.
