Of course, we have to see what happens with the conflict in the region. But if we did it, we would remain completely within the Four Seasons bubble. Eating only their food, using only their guides and transportation, etc.

Any recent reviews for me?
Not very recently, but two years ago to the day we were at the FS Nile Plaza and FS Sharm.

As long as you stay within the guides and restaurants of the FS you will be very happy. The rooms have been renovated to a high standard at Nile Plaza and the public spaces are beautiful but the spa is in dire need of a renovation. The services were good. The service throughout the hotel is a very high standard.

Just to see what else was available we popped into the Ritz which is near the Cairo Museum. The rates were only slightly less expensive at the Ritz but the difference was night and day. We almost ran back to Nile Plaza.

FS Sharm is a fantastic property, especially for children. Choose the original Luna section and either a pool suite or full ocean view suite. I preferred this to the new rooms and suites. The snorkeling is next level, better than Hawaii and just as good or better than the Maldives:

The people are beyond lovely and truly enjoy sharing the incredible history and culture of Egypt.

In Cairo, don’t miss the Sphinx night light show if they still do it. Ask the concierge about private tours of the new museum.

I will say the hotel rates for expedited visa and immigration, meet and greet, was exceptionally expensive, and having been three times now, not worth it.

Yes, get transport from the airport to the hotel through them, but the extras which are offered were of minimal added value to my family.
