The fine print on the email does specify that I have to use a specific United card (I have 2) and has a link to the paze service. From what I can tell paze is part of Zelle, which is in turn owned by most of the big banks (Chase, BofA, Wells Fargo, etc). When I clicked the link from the email it took me to paze, I was then given a chance to link ALL of my Chase credit cards (I have 5).

In theory paze is supposed to work like ApplePay or any other check out service. I just tried it on the Whataburger app. Picked paze at checkout instead of pay with credit card and a pop up took me to paze's website where I could then pick which already saved card I could use, although I still had to enter the 3 digit security code for my card. That was annoying, but maybe it was just because it was the first time using that card with paze? I dunno.

Still, using it for United has proven to be a challenge. I need to buy a flight later this week but waiting on my kid's to confirm if they're going to be on my itnierary or not before I do so haven't actually completed a transaction on United's site with it yet, just tried to find it.
