I've stayed at this one a few times (and lived directly across the street for 3 years). I've found it to be solid as new-build HPs go, with good odds of a Globalist upgrade to a spacious corner room. Breakfast is the typical HP mediocrity - I'd skip it and grab breakfast tacos a block away at Tacodeli or head to Corner at the JW Marriott for a decent sit-down breakfast.

While it's not as interesting as the Driskill, Thompson, or HR, this HP is, for my money, in a better location, in the heart of downtown but a block or two away from the 6th Street noise. Especially since it's usually priced lower than those properties, it's a good value play in downtown Austin. The Centric may be worth a look too, but I haven't stayed there so no direct experience to share.
