As others have said, that used to be what the terms and conditions said; in practice, one could make date and time changes up to 24 hours before the flight you wanted to change. The terms and conditions no longer include the 24 hours before commencement limitation. The t and c’s now state:
All permitted changes are subject to capacity limitations and must be made a minimum of 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure of the flight being changed.
