Perhaps A3 could be the first airline (that I know of) to offer different (tier) mileage earning depending on the time of year....
Some airlines have this for redemption (charging [slightly] more during peak periods); it might be an idea to offer increased mileage earning for off-peak periods on their own (A3/OA) flights...or at least on a subset of their flights
