ORD-TKO Layover-SGN-ORD

From what we remember it was possible to pay $100 for a layover on this Japan Airlines ticket.

We're trying to price out business class and they're charging quite a bit more.

Would anyone have familiarity with this scheduling. AA booking JAL and having a layover in Tokyo?

The agents this morning are pricing it out pretty high, anf Google Flights is much worse.

We're thinking that feature has changed, or it's only available booking direct through JAL
