All passengers passing through Schiphol pay both a Passenger Service Charge and a Security Service Charge.
There is no exemption made for passengers who may be exempted on any particular flight from actually passing through a security check.
The fees charged to transfer passengers are different (lower) than those charged to passengers originating in AMS.
From 1 April 2025, the Security Service Charge for a transfer passenger is €12,45:
If you're travelling on KLM via AMS in both directions, this would amount to a Netherlands Security Service Charge of €24.90 per ticket (2 * €12.45; you're transiting Schiphol twice).
This is the amount that ITA Matrix charges on a KLM return ticket from LHR to BER via AMS:
It's also the amount charged in the taxes breakdown of a dummy LON-BER booking on the KLM website (when selecting to issue the ticket in €)

The amount charged when the ticket is issued in GBP will vary depending on the prevailing IATA exchange rate but should be the equivalent of €24.90 at the prevailing IATA exchange rate
