What do the last numbers on an AMEX card mean?
Over the years ( about 30), I've had several AMEX cards, Green, Gold and Platinum.

From time to time I have gotten new cards with different "last" numbers, i.e., XXXX XXX XXX X003 or---X005, etc.

Is there and "special" significance to the last set of numbers??
