One night at Mission Pacific, my first stay. Wow that traffic coming in was awful on a Sunday evening - not a positive introduction. Overall a nice stay though. Booked Partial Ocean View (it was cheapest available), upgraded in app day of arrival to Ocean View Studio. Room itself was very nice, with impressive noise isolation given how loud it can get outside. Staff were all positive and helpful. Disappointed to find no coffee in lobby at 6:15 a.m., but FDA eventually let on that they have it at Seabird. So across the street I went. You have to ask at front desk, but agent cheerfully brought me a cup. It was excellent. Had the chilaquiles (with chorizo) at Piper which I thought were very good. Charges wiped. Positive stay overall, would return. Interestingly, it prices the same or even a bit cheaper than Springhill Suites Carlsbad, which is about equal distance from the Vista courthouse.
