Did she fly the WS Mexico City non-stop? Nope.
She connected at YVR. Instead of WS, she flew MEX-YVR, and then YVR-MEX.
(The press reports don’t specify which airline(s) she flew. It could have been a need to fly at least part way in AM, for optics. Or it could have been a schedule issue. Either way, it wasn’t the one and only non-stop option.)
