Never thought I would say this, but now go out of my way to avoid flying.
The hassle of airports, my expectations even in business are very low. This is commensurate with minimum wage crew operating from one of the world's dearest cities. Heathrow is operating at capacity so problems always likely.
The only thing BA still has from 25 years ago is the same name.
Wouldn't most people choose flying as a last resort if other transport modes are quicker or more cost effective? I don't think many people choose flying because it is a nicer way to travel than the alternatives? Being based in Northern Ireland, I have a heavy reliance on flying (4 times a week). I don't fly for the fun of it and if I was based in GB I would be getting trains to where I need to go instead (or drive)
