Hello MEXperts: We are arriving late into MEX T2 (1am) and need to get to the Hilton in T1 for the next day's flight. Waiting for their shuttle is not very appealing, so we are thinking about just taking a taxi. Any issue in doing so? Just go to the booth, pay the fare, and give a nice tip to the taxista for the short ride?
Lots of taxis sitting outside the terminal, so it shouldn't be a problem at all. If you have a lot of luggage then tipping is fine, otherwise not expected. But I always have heavy luggage so I tip. Yes, just go to the booth.
