Overall I left feeling how I always feel - ‘meh’. It’s beautiful as a building but I just feel rooms are poor here (other than suites). My bathroom had a strong ‘drains’ smell! No upgrade. First floor shoebox.
At check out yes I was in a rush but I said I’m out of room x nothing to pay as on points I think. Guy then asks me for my key - ok. Then email address for my invoice and I’m thinking ‘what invoice’!
Anyway I got an email with an invoice addressed to IHG Rewards Great Britain for £150.17 + VAT (£180.20) payable within 14 days. Overall, not really impressed at all (as ever) but can’t complain about a ‘free’ night.
I wonder whether IHG Rewards pay the discretionary service charge!

I'm sure IHG corporate would be thrilled that members receive the invoice that is supposed to go to IHG rewards settlement team and that is showing rates that are supposed to be confidential, oh well, more fun for us.
