Why would this format or a similar one be available for all flights? This simply makes no sense. (Perhaps, the A.I. tools are taking over and programmers have forgotten how do make things work correctly. My only explanation.)
If it's an award ticket, or anything has changed with the original ticket, like a SWU clearing, the receipt option disappears. Why? I have no idea. DL has a PDF option for the receipt that has a decent layout. Not as good as it used to be, but it seems to be available on all trips.
BTW, if the AA programming AI has been trained by previous generations of AA programmers then we are just in a doom loop wrt the app and website.
