Benefits of paper sachets are primarily cost but also sanitary:
- Reusable shakers require checking and refilling, which is labor intensive. Hopefully they’re also washing them every once in a while and cleaning each time, but I doubt that occurs.
- Theft of reusable ones

FYI, UA is still using disposable plastic, but have included a third spice (spicy red). Great addition!
