Had a bad experience at this property. Butler service and housekeeping was abysmal. The one halfway-decent night of sleep I had in Dubai, housekeeping woke me up at 7am and 8:30am trying to force me out of the room despite having curtains drawn and trying my best to sleep.
Unfortunately, I had a little bit of GI trouble and asked housekeeping to come back at 10 (I had Burj tickets). After making my way back to the hotel, housekeeping barged back into the room while I was in the shower. I have to make a rather vulgar complaint, but housekeeping at this property is atrocious and does not understand how the clock works. On another day, I spoke with housekeeping and they came 2-3 hours after the agreed upon time. The number of rooms on DND should have been my first red fag.
One evening, I had dinner at Tresind Studio. Butler service failed to pick up my clothes on time (took 3 calls to the service) and dropped off after service had started. I ran back to the hotel to pick up my pants and jacket. Ultimately, the butler service here fails to meet the St. Regis standard, just stay at the Marriott if you are smarter than I am. Nakheel mall was nice, but the cab is probably cheaper than the failure to maintain basic service standards at this failure of a hotel.
