Niche issue rant incoming.

As part of joining OneWORLD, shouldn't AlaskaAir.com website and app be accessible from all over the world? Why geoblock your website to only be accessible from certain countries.

I'm currently traveling in Libya on holiday. Now I understand this is a niche case, but why can't I access the website or app to manage my upcoming Alaska reservations? I don't think this is the first time it's happened even, last year from a few other "offbeat" countries the website was simply 404.

Given that Royal Jordanian, Alaska partner, flies out of Libya, and it's even possible to ticket Alaska award flights on that if award seats are available, I hope their IT removes the unnecessary geoblocks. What's next, I can't manage my Qatar/Alaska mixed itinerary from Syria because it's geoblocked also?

It's giving Southwest who used to make their website inaccessible once you were outside the US (fixed once they started flying internationally).
