Bumping this thread as I have a similar need.
For the past several years my primary carry-on is an Eco Style Tech Exec rolling backpack. Love it but I also have a CPAP bag which does not fit inside it with my other items, so more and more find myself also taking a backpack that I wear on my back, or a Briggs & Riley weekender bag that I attach to the Eco Style with a bag bungee and put the CPAP bag in there with other overflow items.
Recently had the chance to buy a few things highly discounted from Exped, saw their Cruiser 45 backpack, and thought it might fit everything I take with me including the CPAP bag in one bag in a form still relatively small. On my first trip with it and it does - the organization is great. Pre/post checking in, it goes nicely on my checked bag. And while the carrying on my back is not too bad with the straps and hip belt, thinking I might want a small, foldable cart for airside, especially for long walks to immigration and customs in foreign lands.
There are a million of these on Amazon - but hard to figure out what is junk. Anyone have one they like?
