Just finished a 1 night stay using a 1-7 certificate. Attempted to check-in at 11:30 and was told they do not offer early check-in for Globalists. Came back at 2:30, and they let me check-in (official time is 3pm.) No acknowledgment of Globalist status until I brought it up. Booked into two double room, asked to switch to Liberty Corner King, which they declined, but they put me in a Premium King which had great views of lower Manhattan and the Hudson (see pic). Requested and received 4pm check-out.
Breakfast at the Standard Grill for 2 was fully comped, but they had to be reminded to take it off the bill at check-out (this is a recurring issue, they're still new to WOH integration). Two entrees, one side, one cup of coffee, and one cocktail (they even comped the alcohol!)
Rooms are small, but smartly arranged. Would not stay here with kids -- the shower is
completely open to the room (there is no door/partition/slider of any kind), which is interesting but not family-friendly.
Good location at the south end of the High Line, great for exploring Chelsea and Greenwich Village. Little Island is across the street.
Overall, would definitely stay here again, but they're still working out the Hyatt kinks.
View from 10th floor Premium King looking towards lower Manhattan and the river.
