"I Indicator on your record"

Due to some weather problems at ORD on Sunday my flight was cancelled. I got the standard/ prerecorded voice mails from customer service concerning mt cancellation and rebooking. The auto rebooking provided did not meet my needs so I called the 1K line for a flight that would work with my schedule.

During the conversation with the CSR she said that since my record had an I indicator she could try to push me to Delta. When I asked her what an I indicator was told me that it was nothing to be concerned about. Being a curious person I still would like to know what an I indicator is. Any info.

P.S. I would have done a search but the functionality is not available as I type this
