never seen an award accelerator with purchasing…both price and little enough miles. If you need a handful of miles, they don’t offer little enough to be worth it even at a higher price, and if you need more than a handful, there are better ways (being SFO-based, a quick MR or DR ($ run) to LAX, which can be had for $100 OW, or LAS, etc.) makes much more sense, or something like what I did below.

last year (or maybe 2 years ago), upgraded a domestic segment - with miles - to get the extra handful of miles I needed to clear status. I could have done cash too, I suppose. Never would have upgraded that segment without that need (it was SJC-DEN), but was much better than accelerator, as at least I got something. Using the small number of miles was better then the cash outlay, IMO.
