No inside information, but I expect a major devaluation of AA miles to happen before then. 30k AA miles from West Coast to Europe in the summer is too good to last.
30k OW to Europe in coach is hardly "too good to last." RT from LAX to Europe in August on one of the three major alliances is ~$500-600. Keep in mind the high taxes on return flight from Europe, which you would have to pay in addition to 30k points. You are hardly getting more than 1c per point in coach on a RT. Business classes are hardly available during peak time and are largely dynamically priced.
Of course, you can still get value by having the freedom to book OWs, but it's hardly a bargain.
