But AA and the Union belive it is optional. Folks connecting off BA, JL, QR , CX do notice things such as this. US airlines have very low standards but are protected on domestic routes.
I think AA is all for it, but doesn't really have the #@#@# to do anything about it.
Putting BA with JL/QR/CX is very odd. BA service is sliding and getting closer and closer to AA/UA/DL.
The change in boarding process is encouraging. It does seem like there is a (slight?) uptick in PDB.
