Your bigger problem is that they probably can't issue a ticket involving a transfer from KLM to Divi Divi in AUA, as Divi Divi has no interline agreements. That makes this not an option for KLM, who have to get you to CUR, and can't just get you to AUA and give you a separate ticket and tell you good luck.
Thank you! This was the answer I was looking for - I knew they are obligated to put you onto another airline, but I was more trying to work out how possible that would be in this context. You’ve answered my query perfectly, thank you.
