Around this time for the past 3 years I have booked EWR-Athens route on business class and it has always been available when booking nearly a year out. This year I have been watching it very closely for the past few weeks and it seems like at best you get 1 out of 7 days with biz class award availability. I think this ship may have sailed. You are going to have to have alot of flexibilty if you want to take advantage of the 87K points each way. I have a feeling because of the retrofit of the ewr-athens plane they have cut back on biz class award availabilty. Econ flights have plenty of availabilty but I would pay cash for business before I had a free flight in Economy. The points game is fun while it lasts but all good things come to an end.
