New to Virgin Atlantic and have booked two economy delight seats JFK to LHR in Sept. I see an upgrade offer for $357 each, one way, to premium. Seems like a decent price vs original booking price. What do others think? A deal or no? Is it likely to change as time goes on?

if I go the bidding route, it seems you don’t know if accepted until the week before departure? If that’s the case it probably wouldn’t work because the premium seats are half sold already.
