My banker cannot directly waive my credit card annual fee. But I did get much better rates for advisory account than the fee previously disclosed in this forum.

From the United Club application website: "If you are a current United Club member, you can apply for the United Club Card and be reimbursed for the unused portion of your United Club card membership once approved for the card.*"

It will be great to get the reimbursement in the form of United TravelBank cash
