Which I actually agree with. There are times I'm back home in 15 minutes from doors open via Grab - which would be impossible at T1/2/3.
My understanding that unlike the move of Jetstar Air from T1 to T4, which the airline and the Qantas Group actively lobbied against, CX welcomed the move - I'm led to believe that Changi gave CX quite a good deal (as they wanted to underscore that T4 was not just a 'budget low-cost terminal'), and yeah, CX would mainly HKG-SIN-HKG traffic plus they got their own lovely little lounge too.
