A somewhat relevant story regarding an Anker power bank recall due to being a potential fire hazard here:

Anker, as a major designer / seller who can use their brand recognition to get slightly better margins, has an incentive to have better QC. Yet they too can have an issue which is acknowledged as a potential fire hazard…

(Product is the Powercore 10000 A1263, with USB A and micro-USB-in, sold between 2016 & 2022.)
