Yes, the water tastes bad but is safe. It is usually kept in a water tank that can taste moldy but is supposed to be mold free. Best to stick to the bottled water even though it's RO. Ever the Fiji Water brand is made from city water in Surin by RO (my daughter-in-law worked at Fiji when she graduated college in science research.)
