How difficult is it to get a reservation at the sushi places onsite (Sushiro and Kura Sushi)? I understand you can go there in person and ask for a reservation - will you get a reservation starting a few hours later, or a few weeks later?

Are weekends noticeably busier than weekdays in term of queues? I am going to the Expo in a week, the plan is to spend a whole day onsite and later visit it in the evenings only, doing other things in Osaka and around during daytime.

I got a season pass for flexibility, which turned out to be a mistake, because you can only make reservations (including for entrance to the Expo site) for 3 days at once
