They tried the points over breakfast trick with me. I said that it was up to me what my amenity was and not theres. They let me have both in the end.
Have seen continental breakfast in lounge served on my visits this year. Last stay at end of march
Not been for a few months but they did a very basic continental breakfast in the lounge. Coffee machine was flaky but better coffee than in the main restaurant. I do think that the brekky downstairs along with onsite parking is a strong point at this property.
