Actually yes, I'm looking for recommendations for a London Marriott property with a nice lounge. I loved bringing my wife to the lounge in the evening or (in earlier days) for afternoon tea at the Chambers Club. It was very British and she really loved it. We all see lounges all the time - some nice, some really not all that nice - but my wife doesn't travel for businss and we really enjoyed having a glass of wine in the evening in the Chambers Club. It was sort of special for me because I typically don't drink when I'm traveling on business.
Sheraton Grand Park Lane is not bad. Lounge is pleasant enough and (last time I was there) still had wine, spirits and beer and an ok food selection. They had scones and cream etc. in the pm. And you can also have proper afternoon tea in the Palm Court which is quite nice. They also are generally good with upgrades and rates (for London) can be ok. And you are in Mayfair.
