Interesting you feel that way. I got a full waiver on my Biz card last week. In my head I thought it makes sense since it's a dying product (want to retain customers) but I guess the oppo reasoning makes sense too! I was very surprised bc 1. BC is cheap and 2. I haven't put a cent on it in 6 months since I now hold the Silver with the juicy bonus LPs.
I got a AF waiver on my Biz card last week too. I didn't ask for it, I was actually calling to cancel since I didn't want to pay and AF for a partial year and they said they'd simply waive it.
