IMO, if UA went through the hassle to put out this guidance, if they decide that they will not interline BE fare ticket to *A carrier, then the guidance should be updated with this exception. They already went through the effort of writing out all the details, why not just add an asteriks or something that says "Doenst apply to BE tickets"

So you were successful in through checking your bag to TK when you you checked in with UA?
