The Hilton is kinda crappy. The rooms are relatively small and that is unlikely to change. There are a very small number of suites. The Exec lounge is effectively shared space with the Cloud 23 bar next door. The property is in poor shape (beyond the lounge) and has needed a significant refurb for a few years now.

It would take a miraculous transformation to make a silk purse out of this sows ear of a property. I am surprised given the better IHG options in town (even the HI City centre has significantly better rooms), that IHG have picked up this place.
