I have found nothing online at all from anyone about pursuing TAAG for EC261 but as they have flown to Portugal for decades there must be a case somewhere.
I have also sent TAAG a whatsapp (which they ignored) as their online form did not work to at least prove I tried to contact the airline. This means after 6 weeks I can submit a complaint with ANAC (which according to the TAP forums does seem to have some weight).
