Had a one night stay here,
From entering the downstair lobby to reception to my room I WAS ESCORTED and taken care by staff.
Staff are super friendly and the service I felt was over the top. MUCH better then the park hyatt.
One major problem for me was the pool was closed and will be closed for over a month. I would not have booked had I known since a pool is a major facility for me. The manager said they have big signs on hyatt.com about the pool closure but was suprised when I showed her there was none.
After my feedback they did add a banner to the app saying pool is closed till July 19 but bust FYI fellow pool enthusiasts.
After complaining they did offer to escort me to the W hotels pool (same owner) and the pool is nice but it is a rather long walk for the pool and not very relaxing.
I was first offered a deluxe room, but upon asking they switched me to large balcony suite. Funky design but I liked it.
Staff very good as I said.
Welcome ameneties were large
2 specialty beers
4 macaroons
Baked cookies,
Some other baked good
and a fruit plate.
Also a free ticket to the tower observation bar on the 74th floor that normally costs 1200thband a free drink (got a 560thb margarita with it)
Breakfast was good alacarte menu but the service was slow and the food cold.
The wifi was ridiculously slow so if you need that for work beware
The one bedroom balconu suite had a large tub and shower with a weird vanity room attached also a toto toilet for those of you who are fans of it.
Over all once the pool opens I will return. Much better then the park hyatt I am in now.
