Sitting here in baggage claim exhausted. I'll admit my travel life has been smooth for the most part, but didn't know it was this bad to get a bag from a cancelled flight.
I refuse to wait for it. I have had that situation twice in the past year or two, once at SFO and once at DFW. I just buy what I need until I'm reunited with the bag and send the bill to AA. They paid a couple hundred bucks each time, and very quickly too.
