This is the only reason I got the UC Card. I was slightly shy of hitting 1K and it put me over.

I haven't traveled at all this year yet though and probably won't. I've had a good amount of spend on the card though and nearly at gold for the year (but no United flights as of yet).

I never use the United Club's anyway. Most of my travel is international so if I want a lounge I already have access to it. I plan to switch after this year from the UC card and will consider CSR.
