Amex has more airline transfer partners than Chase (although they have a few in common), but Chase has Hyatt, which Amex lacks.
I have the CSP, and have been very happy with it because of the free DoorDash DashPass, and the annual $50 hotel credit for hotels booked through the cash travel portal. The CSP also offers primary rental-car LDW (except for residents of New York State), so that's a big advantage over the Amex Gold if you ever rent cars within the U.S. (For overseas rentals, even "secondary" coverage becomes primary if you have no other collectable insurance.) In addition, I've found the periodic retailer offers on my Chase cards to be more useful than what I get on my Amex Hilton HHonors card, but it's possible that the offers on the Amex Gold card could be better than what I see on the Hilton card.
If you decide to go with the CSP, I would think about getting a Chase Freedom Flex (or product-changing your Chase FU to the Chase FF) so that you can take advantage of the FF's quarterly 5X bonus categories (it's currently Amazon and select streaming services, with a June-only bonus category of certain utility payments).
