I called AY and confirm that the falsifying Finnair Plus account is registered using my name.
So for the record and those who are interested - you may still change your FFP one hour after the flight has departed given an insider is eager to help.
I departed from a Europe port btw.
As a matter of interest - do you have a common surname/ name? Would be interesting if the AY account was pre-existing (ie the A Kim/ B Kim route) or if they are creating accounts when they see a juicy itinerary. (and hope you will continue to fly without an FFP number)
I first heard of this scam over 20 years ago, by staff of a 'major Australian airline' that had uncovered their call centre staff making good money by inserting FFP into common Korean/ Chinese names, building up millions of miles to then resell as business/ first class tickets.
