I stayed here in May 2025, my first Moxy. As someone said elsewhere, the Moxy was like the fanciest youth hostel you can imagine. The rooms are small but well designed. We paid about $10 extra per night to get the slightly larger Sakura rooms, and the small amount of extra space came in very handy for our luggage. Platinum and up can elect ¥1200 per night (sort of US$10) up to two guests in room. It can be used for any meal or drinks. My partner is not a breakfast person so they let me use both vouchers each morning to cover the ¥2000 breakfast charge (buffet with a good variety). Two welcome drinks were also provided and semi-fancy coffee (Nespresso professional machine) is unlimited for all elites (honor system). The steamed milk function operates only during breakfast. After that, it's just packaged creamer.

Three laundry machines (digital wash dry combo) in the basement are very useful but take a long time to dry unless it's a tiny load. My full size load took about 3 hours. There is a web app where you can monitor the status of the three machines from anywhere within the hotel's WIFI--that was useful since it takes a while for the machines to get free. The ground level has a number of areas to hang out, socialize, or work, if you want to get out of your room.

There are few interesting restaurants in the neighborhood but it's across the street from a JR Rail (Nido) station so you can get around pretty easily.

It was half the price of the other chain options in town and good value.
