I wouldn't be surprised at all if the primary guest's CC status extended to the companion - they definitely beefed up the behind the scenes link at some point when companions started being assigned consecutive boarding positions. I'm waaay less confident that they have it all linked up seamlessly in the other direction. I'm always both the CP holder and the A-Lister, so I don't know if they have it already set up where an A-List companion will 'earn' a no-status CP holder a T-36 boarding position. If so, it *should* be trivial to make the same thing work for baggage privileges - if they're interested in doing it, anyway. I have no opportunity to test it, but assuming they do let the companion's status extend to the CP holder and anyone they booked with, I'm curious if they'd limit it to seven additional people on the CP holder's reservation, rather than the normal eight.
