EDIT: Area behind the doors. That white podium (which I assume will be staffed) should stop undesirables.
I actually think this has the makings of a decent set up but let’s see once the space opens and the first experiences drop.

KARFA notes above I’d be very surprised if BA started using Gates 36 and 37. There are biometric gates in the walk from from the escalator to the new lounge area (and a ramp down to domestic arrivals) but theses aren’t in use and would need some form of barrier putting up to contain the domestic space/ ensure everyone passes through the biometric scanners. If they did do that however it could make for a very pleasant experience!
