Yes but I always fly J with Iberia, so I think I've got a reasonable profile with them. Let's be honest, they don't upgrade for charity, they usually upgrade as they've oversold economy and need the extra seats. And I think when they do, there's an algorithm that chooses who is most suitable based on status and, I guess, flying pattern.
