(For anyone else just catching up it appears the Gogo is retiring the cellular LTE product that UA uses and will still support the satellite based product which is irrelevant to UA/UAX)
Oh, if only the current network were LTE. It’s still a 3G based solution - and that’s what’s shutting down.
They have an LTE air to ground network, but United is moving on to Starlink instead.
Gogo LTE is new and what they’re moving most of their general aviation customers to. United’s stepping off and onto Starlink. That’s a major upgrade for all of us.
